Spring Break Madness

There will soon be a mass of high school and college students headed south for spring break in the coming weeks. Teenagers of all kinds will travel from different parts of the country to experience the beautifully warm waters and white sand of Panama City, Florida. There will be arrests, evictions, and even addictions. There will soon be a mass of high school and college students headed south for spring break in the coming weeks. Teenagers of all kinds will travel from different parts of the country to experience the beautifully warm waters and white sand of Panama City, Florida. There will be arrests, evictions, and even addictions. This will be the time teenagers let it all out, and it will also be the time innocent vacationers will watch in amusement. Vacationers who have never been to Panama City will be in the surprise of their lives because these spring breakers are not messing around.
Although this can be a great time if teens keep their heads on straight, it can also be a dangerous one. Teens tend to do things they usually would not do, such as having unprotected sex with multiple partners and drinking to the black out point. And do not think people are not going to be taking advantage of these oblivious teens. Kidnappers, rapist, and robbers will run rampant, as they take advantage of all the ignorance.
If parents do allow their children to travel to the wild panama they should brief them on the dangers and the proper way to act if they do find themselves in a certain situation. Always have an adult contact near the location of where the teen is staying, so if anything does arise they will have some one they can contact.

Albanians Responce to Economic Crisis

Citizens of Albany Georgia have been, and are still, feeling the weight of the United States economic recession. Recent interviews with Albany citizens showed that the overall life style has changed for many Albanians. In one woman’s situation, her husband lost his job and she is now supporting him and her two children with her salary she receives as a hair stylist. She stated that, “These economic times have been hard for us, but we are making it.” She also said that her family has had to cut back on spending, and that she is cooking more often. When asked about the economic crisis and when she thought the economy would be back in full swing, she replied, “I hope the economy can get back to what it was a couple of years ago, but I think it will take a couple of years to get there.” This reply shows that citizens of Albany are hopeful and optimistic that our economy will become strong again. She felt that President Obama’s stimulus plan had good logic behind it and she was ready and waiting for her stimulus check. The problem with this stimulus plan is that even though citizens will be receiving stimulus checks they are most likely to save this money. If this happens, there will be no new money going into circulation, resulting in the failure of this plan. One man agreed with this critique by stating, “People might be getting a check every month, but if they aren’t spending it, it’s not going to help the economy.” This will hopefully not be the case, and every ones stimulus money will circulate back into our economy, eventually stimulating it. Citizens of Albany share a hopeful attitude that the United States economy will get back on its feet, so that they are able to return to doing what they once loved like traveling, and eating out.

Cereal Box Drivers License

Many people suffer from road rage. It could be because they are late for a very important date, or because they are simply annoyed with the driver in front of them. Whatever the reason, they get infuriated and when these overly angry people get mad it makes the roads dangerous for everyone.
So what causes these people to become so agitated? There are many different situations that cause road rage, with one of the most popular being slow drivers. Nothing is worse than being late or in a hurry, and the vehicle in the way is going twenty-five in a fifty-five. These people should either stay home, or go the speed limit. Another situation that drivers might become enraged at, is when drivers pull out in front of another car thirty feet away. This is obviously not a safe distance and it causes the rage prone driver to slam on brakes. A common response to this inconsiderate move is the pounding of the horn, repetition of choice words, and the well known, throwing of the hands.
Another incident that is common for causing road rage is the lack of blinkers. When people are traveling down the road and then suddenly slam on brakes and turn is both dangerous and inconsiderate. If everyone would work on his or her driving skills more, there would be a decrease in road rage. This decrease in rage will result in calmer drivers, and tranquil drivers and good drivers.

Children Run Wild

Everyone has something that they can not stand about people in public. One of the most frustrating and annoying things in public are parents who allow their children to run wild and misbehave in public. The mall, and really every public place, can be a haven for badly behaved children. There is nothing wrong with letting a child have fun, but there is a time and place for everything. Stores should not act as baby sitters. Parents who let their child run free while they shop are either too lazy to look after them, or they just do not care about the child and what he or she is doing. This not just an issue of the parent and child though. When people are in public places there is going to be other people around. Even if the parent does not care about the child, they should at least have the decency to understand that them and their child are disrupting the public.
This is not only a problem in stores and shopping areas though. These same uncaring parents also drop there children off at the movie theater like it is a day care center. Unfortunately, it is the innocent citizens that have to put up with young children yelling and running around like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off. These innocent people paid good money to watch a movie in peace and these kids are texting, laughing, and talking loudly as the movie is being played.
Parents should be ashamed to walk in a buy an R rated ticket and give it to their eleven and twelve year old children, but they are not. This is why the theaters need to become more strict on the age groups they are letting in to the R rated movies.

Public Theaters

There are many down sides to going to see a movie in a public theater. One of the many disadvantages of going to the movies these days are the lines and inconveniences . If someone wants to go see a movie on a Friday or Saturday night in Albany, Georgia, they better have already gotten a ticket or know the owners because there is a very good chance the tickets will be sold out. People still have to wait in the line (that by this time is flowing out of the door)to be told that the movie they wanted to see is sold out.
Lets say that somehow the tickets are not sold out and the mob of adults and children clear the way, is it smooth sailing from there on? The answer is no. Once all pockets are emptied and both hands are full of popcorn, candy, and coke, it is time for the journy into the theater. This is the where the real problems begin. It is bad dealing with the crowds and over priced snacks, but at least an intense movie is not going on during these events. The worst is when the characters are in a passionate conversation and peoples cell phones are going off in the crowd. In a close second comes babys crying. Why would anyone bring a new born to a theater? Another down side to going to see a movie in a public theater is the unwelcomed commentary on everything that happens in the movie. This actually can be pretty intertaining if it is a scary movie that is not very good. Other than in that senario, the commentary is very annoying.
With all these horrible cons to the movie theater, why do people still go? It is because of their impatience. When someone sees a preview of a movie that they think looks interesting, there is no con in the world that is going to keep them out of the theater, no matter how made it might get.

Obama Interview

This is a video of Howard Stern on a radio show interviewing Obama voters. I put this clip on my blog because I wanted to discuss the issue of uneducated voters. While there are always going to be uneducated voters, I think there was an abundance of uneducated Obama voters this year. Because of his race, people who had never voted before came out to support the future president, in hopes that their worries would be no more. I am sad to say that they will still have to pay for gas and their mortgage. Do these people even have the right to vote? I don't think so. If they don't even know who they support or what they stand for, why should they? I would like to hear your comments on this subject and how you feel about uneducated voters.
